Since Stokes is unlikely to risk bowling they might go for an all seam attack with Potty and leave out Bash,
especially as its TB, doesnt usually favour spin does it?

No point picking a spinner for this Test imo, especially if you only have four bowlers.

Cook missed some games with injury iirc. Seeing how he goes is probably what I'm most looking forward to in this match.

Porter was very unlucky that for much of his career, Broad, Anderson and Woakes were pretty much home bankers. I think he did get close to a test squad once but had to pull out? As I said earlier I want Cook to play somewhere other than Lord’s so that the trumpet man plays Stand by Me!
