there are two ways we could choose the coaches of the all star teams, give it to the best coach from each respective division, or all the coaches in each division vote for one of the other coaches in their division.

I reckon a vote between all coaches in the Division.

But D3 are going to win anyway, so why bother?

The only managers in any vote should be those that've been in the division all season though.

I dont agree with that. if the other 7 div 1 managers all think that bugs should be the coach again this year i think he should be allowed to.
I agree with marc though, only managers that have managed in the division for the whole season can become manager. However everyone who has been a manager in a particular division gets a vote.
One last thing, managers would not be allowed to vote for themselves to be manager.

Ive compiled this list of people who would be available to manager each division, if anyone thinks im wrong please let me know, keeping in mind that you have to have managed in the division for the whole season.

note everyone that you vote on a manager for each division you have played in.
eg the Argonaut would vote for a div1 and a div 2 manager keeping in mind that he coached Glamorgan and Qld.

Whats the point of this all star thing. I think its a waste of time, like the betting thing. Only a small group will show limited interest, while others wait anxiously for the darft/season or whatever to begin. Of coarse I could be wrong, but thats how I see it.

For one, it gives GB and Rich a bit of breathing space between seasons - and the alternative is to have nothing - I like the idea.

And if you're anxiously waiting for a new season, you are a bit sad!

No way, do it like last year, based on nominations from the managers at the end of the season - only way to get a truly representative squad for each division.

Ok Iam going to explain once again.....


1/ Why is it a wate of time, afterall it's basically the same as the normal season, yet you all like that??

2/ I told GB before he left that people were unhappy with the AS series, and his reply after a lenghty talk was that he wants it to go ahead, it's an annual WCC thing and if people don't like it don't get involded.

3/ Well Marc is happy so I could always just run it with Marc as the Div 2 manager - therefore he would win every game on forfit.

4/ GB has told me he wants to do the draft (even though I offered) So quite frankly you either sit around for nearly a month doing sod all, or you get involded in a bit of fun and keep things ticking over.

5/ And in another thread I gave you the opptunity to suggest other ideas, but not one of you did so until you can give me other ideas that you do like, then don't kick ours!
