Division 1 FC - team comparisons

Graham

3rd Umpire
I would like all Division 1 FC managers to post their top eleven plus a backup batsman and backup bowler so that we can have an idea of what we’re all up against!
I would like to see such threads for each Division in each format.

Simon and I have already compared ours alot. According to us we'll be the top teams in the division, but that's just according to us of course :p. Obviously that might not be the case. I also feel my team is slightly, JUST SLIGHTLY, better than Simon's team. But I'm expectign to lose away to him and to win at home. Either way! We're in for a great season!!

Eyes not spreadsheets
And if I do, so be it - I don't think it's a coincidence that after last season I had a lot of time to assess the team and trade, and then performed well.

This time I've got far more on my plate, so have literally just been able to decide who to ditch and who to draft in.

C'mon mate - doesn't take that long to do. Don't be a spoilsport!

UPDATED TO LATEST TRADES!
Basically I've weakened my OD a little, but not too much. Just lost a backup bowler really and a batting difference of 3. But by getting Beasley at 8 and Porter at 9 I'm hoping for some lower order runs. Also harkness coems in as my backup 4D bowler with an s/r of 38.3, hopefully he should give me the edge over any team with spinning pitches. As I'll play him and Nawab.

you would be surprised how much effect matches played has mate, and the loss of pointer and dravid is huge

Sometimes risks are necessary! M.Aronstam could well prove to be brilliant!

If the trade is such a bum deal, it will be cancelled by the board.
