I can understand why Lillee did not pick Sunny. They played very little and Sunny wasn’t that impressive in those matches. Also that incident pissed Lillee off.

I think Lillee and Gavaskar played 8 games together, anyway He has a clear preference for strokemakers like Gower and Vishi over grinders who held back strokes like Boycott and Gavaskar.
