Cricketer Of The Year
I believe those who haven't picked in the final round have timed out.

Thanks @AndrewB for lodging my Round 10 pick while I was away.

To complete my side I'll go with Geraint Jones (2004-2006)

I'm quite happy with my team, despite missing Ryan Harris and rushing in Charlie Griffith as a repacement. Jack Russell would have had a longer career if not for the presence of Hobbs and Sutcliffe and his partner Chris Broad scored centuries in 3 consecutive Ashes Tests. The career stats of Eddie Paynter, Adam Voges and Ross Edwards speak for themselves. But for injuries, Hardik Pandya would be highly regarded as an all rounder while Geraint Jones is a 'keeper with a Test century to his name. The bowling is opened by the fearsome Griffith and the controversial Shabbir Ahmed with Max Walker (a great back up for Lillee and Thomson) the ideal first change. The spin option is provided by Axar Patel who, in the start of his Test career, has created a big impression.

I think Axar is averaging about 10 with the ball at the moment.

Not a bad XI, it'd be competitive. Good test openers, and Hodge at 3 is obviously a guy who would've played 100 tests and probably averaged 50 in another era. Richie, Gregory and Maxwell, ODonnell are all at least capable at test level, if not entirely proven.

Zoehrer was a great keeper who might've kept Healy out of the team if not for his own personality. In Iverson I have an spinning x-factor, truly one of the most intriguing test cricketers of all time. Hoggard, Tait and ODonnell form an attack that isn't elite, but could work together. Maxwell able to provide a spin option if required.

Not a bad side. 5 proper bowlers and 2 part timers who can be decent. Pace and swing and reverse swing available in plenty and two good spinners, one of them an ATG. Solid batting all the way through to 9 as well.
