Davisons day out

That's Canada as a whole though. Davison took 8 (yes that does say 8) for 61.

I know he's good but the whole of the Aussie and NZ teams are going to be as good as him. They are going to get a proper spanking. Suppose it is all part of the learning curve. Just hope any youngsters in the USA side don't give up because of it.
Yeah, each new team has to go through it. Zimbabwe did, Kenya did, Bangladesh did... And look at where Bangladesh are now? Scoring 400+ against West Indies.

May 27-30; USA v Canada Day 3: John Davison took 9/76 to lead Canada to a comprehensive victory over the USA. After he dismissed the overnight batsmen Mark Johnson (42) and Steve Massiah (37) the Americans collapsed to 126 all out, leaving Canada victors by 101 runs. Davison, an obvious choice for the man-of-the-match award recorded match figures of 17/137, the best first-class analysis since Jim Laker's famous 19 wickets in 1956.

 Davison though.

USA are going to get utterly smashed in the Champions Trophy.

17-137 is utterly ridiculous. It's not as if he's even that good..

... and they are slotted in the same group as Australia and New Zealand. No Mercy.

But as I said earlier, happens to every new-comer team.

You see, the problem here is he took about as many wickets in the complete Australian domestic season than this match. I'm going to say, as talented as he is, he is not a 17-wicket per match type bowler.

So these match's are counted as first class?

Never thought that.

His cricinfo player profile certainly hasn't included that.

canada isnothing without davison. without davison, canada could not win anything in the ICC 6-nations challenge.

in the canada-west indies match, after canada raced to 153/1 off 20 overs with davison, they could manage 49/9 off the next 20 without davison. this shows how much canada depend on davison alone.

For some maybe .

deffinatly not if USA bat first.
People said a similar thing about the Australia Zimbabwe series, but to their credit Zimbabwe definitely performed a lot better than it was expected!

They generally take time to update, especially as they need to get the full figures from the game.

I think the fact that Davison got 17 wickets shows the same thing. However, I dont think that was ever in doubt.

Which didn't answer my question if this is a FC match or not?

And I can name plenty of occasion's when India has been totally reliant on SRT, Dravid and Laxman.
