McKenzie was a decent player, especially when he came back as an opener to partner Smith. Nothing special but played a role.

Boeta was a bit slow in ODIs and just a bit **** in Tests but he was a very attractive strokemaker for the runs he did make.

Agreed. Dippenaar was a very stylish batsman. More so than Cullinan. He just wasn't that good.

Moeen was a mid 30s bat till 2017 when things went badly wrong. Not amazing by any means but certainly serviceable especially with his bowling added in.

I also can't think of any other player that has played that many other positions - it's nuts. He never got a proper run in any single position.

Remember how Cullinan used to be billed as the most gifted/natural batsman in the South African line up.

He could have turned out that way to be honest if not for Shane Warne who was a hero and too good for anyone

Cullinan was not even bad against spin overall. Just that Warney spooked him. Guy was a very gifted batsman otherwise.

I'm surprised that Rhodes, Gregory, and Mankad batted as low as 11. Surely they weren't that bad.
