Alright Callum, lets get you some form back.

We'll be working on your action and your run-up, I've noticed you've been having a few problems with getting your run-up right recently, and this has been affecting your action, which is subsequently all over the shop. I'm here to fix that, but don't expect it to be easy work.

Yes you can ask.

They are 'semi randomly' generated.

When I say semi randomly, each bowler is restricted in a way - you're not going to find adam collins hurling down 150km/h beamers. Each bowling style (ie F, FM, MF, M ect.) has an allowance bracket, and the numbers are generated in between those allowances. Don't ask me what the allowances are, as I didn't make it. Hakon, speak up if you dare.
That's basically it. Actually (anyone who failed their high school maths need not bother to read further), it's based on a normal distribution curve with a standard deviation of 3, the mean for fast bowlers being 92 mph, fast-medium 82 mph, medium-fast 73 mph and medium 65 mph. A standard deviation of three means that 68 % of medium pace bowlers will have an average speed between 62 and 68 mph (one standard deviation away) and 95 % will have average speeds between 59 and 71 mph (two standard deviations away).

Coaches Comments: A day Callum would like to forget I suspect. Lowlight would have to of been misjudging a low full toss from Travis and being comprehensively bowled by it. Would like to find some consistancy I suspect, and Dave Kennett has been assigned to work 1-on-1 with Callum to sort out his fluency issue in his action.

Round 4 4D

Name: TJ Demeza
Club: Joondalup
Opposition: Niggle
Venue: Iluka Sporting Complex - Bar
Result: Travis - 12, Cambo - 9
Awards: Nil
Coaches Comments: Although he still had to bat, Cambo and Travis faced off in a drinking contest before the first innings, one which Travis won convincingly, however Cambo got the last laugh, scoring a well made 104 at the top of the order. Had a bit of a bowl in the nets during the game against some Ocean Ridge U/15's batsmen, is making progress with his side niggle, but is still a couple of games off. We'll assess it after each game, but have set Round 5 1D as his comeback match - all things going to plan.

Coaches Comments: Not a bad effort from Adam as Scarborough got pumped by Fremantle. Did well in the second innings, and started swinging the ball both ways late in the game, but alas it wasn't enough to save his team. Speeds were good and consistant throughout the game, and was rarely erratic.

Coaches Comments: Only the one innings of bowling, but a rewarding one. Whatever he and Dave Kennett worked on during the week paid off, with Callum regaining his control, and keeping solid pace throughout his overs. Hopefully he can continue to focus on the errors and try to iron them out so it becomes first nature, but will need to put in the hard yards in the next few weeks.

Nathan tried his best by all accounts, and gave the Joondalup batsmen a scare after dismissing the top 3 early on very cheaply, however it wasn't enough in the end.

Well bowled Callum. Good to see you've really worked hard on the run-up and action and it's paid dividends. We'll continue with the work just to make sure we have everything covered though. I'm impressed.

Coaches Comments: Was a bit expensive and only managed the 1 scalp, but overall bowled better than his figures suggested. It seemed everything clicked for RM - Blocker got through his 10, Didn't lose early wickets, Managed to have a partnership of some quantity. Hoyboy was promoted to open the batting with Craig Simmons in a last ditch effort to find something to get RM a win - it worked alright. His bowling was quick and on-line, Cant really say much else, look at the figures yourself!

Coaches Comments: A rare off day for Bryce - failed to score double figures and didn't manage a bagful of wickets. Coaches Comments: Bryce got pounded by a swinging Ryan Campbell, who took 23 off his 2nd over of the game to shatter any chance of Bryce making much of an impact. Never knew where to bowl at Cambo during the innings and consequently found the ball sailing over his head many times as Cambo made his way to an unbeaten 150. His front foot was also a problem, overstepping 4 times isn't acceptable, put it down to a bad day.
