Come on Kears! Think there's something fishy with the scoreboard, tho...Butler's gone from 16 to 30, and Kearsley's stuck on 12 (not to mention Goffy not out). *spares a thought for the stressed scoreboard operator*

72.6 Warne to Hoy: driving and BOWLED through the gate! Not a very good shot, but some good drift and flight to get that wicket. Warne has 6 and counting...

Two overs remain in the day's play and Ricky Ponting has opted for the new ball in the hands of Brett Lee. He charges in...
80.4 Lee to Kennett: oh my...David Kennett has just played an on-drive off Brett Lee and he gets FOUR for it! That's against natural law!

CW XI lead by 261 runs.
Well folks, we've got quite a game on our hands and delightful day's play in prospect. The Cricket Web XI stuttered somewhat yesterday after an excellent start, but given their showing with the ball in the first innings, a lead of 231 runs going into the fourth day is still quite competitive.

They will hope to nudge that total closer to 300 this morning and will first have to see off Lee and Gillespie with the new ball if they are to do so.

84.6 Lee to Thomas: he just gave Lee the charge and ended up top-edging the ball over the slips for FOUR.

85.2 Gillespie to Kennett: they're asking for it and there's not much doubt there. Kennett goes after a fairly long stay.
85.3 Gillespie to Pickup: DROPPED! Gilchrist had to range to his left there and he's put down a pretty simple chance.

88.3 Lee to Pickup: SLOGGED over midon and away for FOUR! Pickup definitely enjoyed that one! Agricultural stroke to say the least.

89.1 Gillespie to Thomas: DROPPED! Do unto others... Hussey floors a simple chance off Thomas.

Warne is into the attack for the first time today after Lee recovers from shame.
90.2 Warne to Thomas: SLAPPED over midoff, just out of his reach. That will get to the ropes. Another boundary for Thomas... he's on 21 now!
90.5 Warne to Pickup: HOWZAT?!?!? He wanted that one badly, but Bucknor shakes it off.
90.6 Warne to Pickup: BANG! On bended knee and Pickup looked to belt Warne over midwicket. The ball ends up looping over slip and down to the boundary for FOUR! He's reached double figures...

92.2 Warne to Thomas: the perfect legbreak and it's all over. Pitched and turned away. It took the edge of Thomas' forward push and Gilchrist collected easily.
