Oh well, better teams have been smashed by Sandanayake.
TBH that is probably the first time he has scored a hundred against a non bot. Goes from being a minnow basher, to flat pitch bully. One day he will score runs against top sides on tough pitches. :)

End of over 22 (3 runs) - Dynamo Morpork(105-3). 226 runs required from 28 overs. RR 4.77 RRR 8.07
S. Weeks 34 (49b) , J. Jones 18 (13b) , S. Andrahennadi 6-0-29-1

Bowler sticking to the plan for once, keeping it nice and tight. Wickets are bonus, long way to go though.

EDIT: 4th wicket down

TBF, they only played 4 of my gun young Lankans, rest were sitting quietly in the YA.

OK, D2 tables were messed up when I posted them on Thursday and I was too defeated to post the whole thing after Sunday. So here it is.

Code:
Otago 5-1 10 +0.70
Dynamo Morpork 4-2 8 +0.75
Scaly Piscine 4-2 8 +0.13
Jaffna Jets 4-2 8 -0.10
Blackcaps 3-3 6 +0.35
Zero Pillars 3-3 6 -0.07
-------------------------------
Central Districts 1-5 2 -0.52
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Swamibapa 0-6 0 -1.26

Male Models 4-0 8 +1.48
-------------------------------
BEST Indies 4-0 8 +0.78
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Saggers Mob 2-2 4 +0.03
Alternative XI 1-3 2 -0.45
Navman Cheesecake 1-3 2 -0.69
Healhurst 0-4 0 -1.19
The net run rate figures correspond roughly to this in a single match:

Dynamo 0
Otago 15 runs behind
Scaly 186 runs behind
Jaffna 255 runs behind

which can be seen as a rough "run difference" for Thursday in the event of a Dynamo win over Otago. As such, Dynamo will finish ahead of Otago with a win, and I really can't see the others making up those numbers. In the relegation zone, Swamibapa trail Central Districts by 223 runs.

In Division Two, it's much simpler, as Male Models vs BEST Indies is essentially the first of two promotion play-offs.

lol. Drop Edwards.

5.6 nb Edwards to Ridgway : Pitched outside off stump and moves away. Ridgway lets it go.
5.6 nb3 Edwards to Saker : Saker's waited well on it and has unleashed a beautiful late cut, beating Eligon at backward point and picking up 3 vital runs
5.6 wd Edwards to Saker : Well wide of off stump.
5.6 nb2 Edwards to Saker : Stroked nicely forward of cover for 2.

Blackcaps v Swamibapa CC

Won by 16 runs. great win though. Surprise win. At one stage we are completely out of the match..

EARLOBE

Good match, the longer tail tactic was a bit wasted and the spinners performed poorly.

Batting - Tail: 2,667 2,581

Decent score against Dwyer. Andrahennadi showing the U19 coach why he needs to be picked.

End of over 37 (4 runs) - Dynamo Morpork(133-1) RR 3.59
N. McCauley 68 (103b) , H. Hill 33 (50b) , S. Pennycuick 9-1-39-0

Archer on defensive...23 off 72 balls. No danger of the finisher getting in any time soon.

Jaffna weren't too many runs short of having a chance of winning the league on run rate. Ended up with 0.6222, while Dynamo is assured of 0.64 if they get bowled out now and still win by a run.
