Current Test/FC draft

Hello,

This is a current Test/First-Class cricket draft - all cricketers must have played a Test match and/or a First-Class match in the last year.

Rules
* Player must have played a Test or FC match that started in the last year (for the sake of clarity and consistency that will be a Test or FC match that started between 6 May 2024 and 6 May 2025). Added for sake of clarity - this includes retired players as long as they have played a Test/FC match in the last year

* Each drafted team can have a maximum of 500 Test caps - (in case this overruns into Zimbabwe v England Test match that is 500 Test caps as of today - 6 May 2025.

* In any obscure/fringe cases will refer to Cricinfo for any clarification on if a match counted as an FC match or not thus making a player eligible/ineligible.


* When it comes to voting I will ask for voters to give significant consideration to both career records/achievements and current form of selected players.

* No timeouts in first 24 hours of draft
* 8 hour timeouts thereafter

Please let me know if you are interested - if we get sufficient numbers will probably try to start this draft on Friday evening (UK time)

A good question and one that has me mulling it over a bit, I'll ask for voters to give significant consideration to both career records/achievements and current form. I'll add that to the original post now as well

Just added in the OP for clarity that recently retired cricketers are eligible if they have played a Test or FC match in the last year. In that case replace current form with form the player ended their career in.
