iirc dipping into the whole perception and peer rating pool here Lindwall was always (correctly imo) considered better than Trueman.Downgrading Trueman is one of the most egregious examples of analysis by checklist on CW. He was the prototype of a modern fast bowler before Lillee. I rate Trueman very very high.
His away record can really be considered mediocre. It's not a checklist thing, he bowled in very favorable home pitches for 70% of his matches, bullied a weak NZ away for some and averages 30 against WI and Australia in 16 matches.Downgrading Trueman is one of the most egregious examples of analysis by checklist on CW. Yeah the only difference is I now rate Pollock over Walsh but the rest remains.Think "where they will finish" is working out pretty finely. Just Rabada and Pollock for me and a Great tour of India/Pakistan will switch things up
