Another Somerset Newsflash

Somerset are happy to report they have gained the asistance of A Rayadu and also M Hatton to the squad, both of them received in round 1 and 2 respectively. The upcoming season is looking good on all levels. :)

Also, I was wondering wether I could find any old Somerset team lists from Seasons 1 & 2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.:)

Finally, the Somerset website has been updated many a time, so if you want to catch whats happening, simply click on the club logo in my sig, or go to the website listed in an above post.

Season 1 - Pretty much look at the current Real Life team and add Andy Flower I think as the overseas player.

Season 2 - See Blewy

Can anyone answer the above question? Blewy? Any past links?

Also, Somerset are looking to trade off V Turpin. (36 bat both forms) In return we would like a specialist bat with over 40 one form. they can be crap the other form.

Somerset are officially handing betting duties over to my assistant, Langevelt for this season. Hopefully he does well.:)

Also trading is over (i think) i have plans to update the website with the following -

*Career Stats for all 16 players
* List of players who have ever played for Somerset
* Classic matches since my reign

Im looking to make a section that might be able to provide an 'insight' into the Somerset cricket club. Any ideas will be appreciated.:)

Official Somerset Statement

We are happy to announce Peter Bowler will be our captain for Season 4. He was originally a stand in but has now gone the next step. Hope he can do well.
