Best Foreign Batsmen on English Soil

U19 Cricketer
Don Bradman, Steve Waugh, Shiv Chan'paul, Hasim Amla, Vivian Richards, Allan Border, Graeme Smith, Rahul Dravid, Steve Smith, Gordon Greenidge, Sachin Tendulkar, Garry Sobers, Bruce Mitchell, Sourav Ganguly, Graeme Pollock, George Headley, Mark Taylor, Diliip Vengsarkar - some of the names coming to me straight away...Mark Waugh and Brian Lara did fairly well too. Am I missing someone?

Can you make a top 5? Mine will be (leaving out Don) - Rahul Dravid, Allan Border, Steve Waugh, Graeme Smith and Vivian Richards (in no particular order).

In all seriousness, Steve Smith should be making the top 5 at least imo

The batsmen who've had the best series up here that I've seen are SR Waugh in 1989 (think it was the third test before we even dismissed him), Graeme Smith in 2003 (how I grew to hate that bottom handed shovel), his namesake Steve in 2019 and (my vote for the best) Rahul Dravid in 2011.

India were shellacked four-zip, but the Wall was magnificent in a losing cause. In the 4th he carried his bat for 146* over (so cricinfo informs me) 378 minutes and then still fronted up to open when Strauss enforced the follow-on. WAG.
