bazball bs

Whatever it takes!!!
If that's the case, Miller stole false dis-credit for it.

"Bazball' was termed by Andrew Miller, ESPNcricinfo's UK editor, on an episode of the Switch Hit podcast recorded before the start of England's series against New Zealand last month to describe the positive style of play that McCullum's old side had adopted under his captaincy."

Crapinfo claiming somebody's else's idea as their own is just regular existence for them.

i have grave doubts about the so-called success of bazball.
When did england or any team ever had the philosophy of losing test matches?
isnt bazball more about the great form of bairstow than any new philosophy?
i suspect thats all it is.

i doubt stokes' captaincy has done anything more than coincided with bairstow's great form than revolutionised english cricket.
you need stodgy players in test cricket who play for time and defend just as you need middle order attacking players.

i feel bad for joe root who batted wonderfully in a team that underperformed. And unjustly got blamed for bad captaincy. When he was setting the example for the rest of the team who just couldnt follow him (stokes included)

Reckless batting loses test cricket matches most of the time. All i see is an anomaly thats been misinterpreted as a new philosophy.
one swallow does not a summer make.

And ben stokes isnt ben stokes if he isnt getting mysteriously injured in a test but then somehow soldiering on. Just to show us all what a big heart he has.
The injury fairy is about all ben stokes has new to offer as captain . That ploy hasnt gotten old yet so i suspect when bairstow's luck runs out thats all stokes has to offer.
And england will continue to rely on root's class as it did prior to mccullem.
Nvm @Athlai , got it. :)
