Battle of the Bowling Peaks

A bowler with Mustafizur's cutter like ball as his stock ball?
Except Barnes could cut it both ways and also could swing both ways.

Also, untill 2021, Mustafizur's stock ball was the off cutter. Could break the ball at 135 clicks, was brilliant to see.

Pretty sure two of the batsmen who Marshall dismissed the most were Border and Gavaskar.

McGrath also for Lara and I believe Sachin quite few times as well and Lara went through a hell stretch vs him.

Murali and Warne were taken on and routinely rocked by Lara, Australia in general and India in general. They weren't good.
Murali destroyed India and Australia at home. Warne couldn't do a thing against India in away, home , test or ODIs. Sorry man, they are not even close in this regard.

Umm no. Lara and Sachin took apart Warne/Murali to an extent that no batsman managed against the likes of Marshall or even Hadlee.
Or even McGrath.

On other hand, the only batsman who was capable of it was with WI. And he did go after Hadlee in some instances. It's not like we had Gilchrists, Sehwags and Kluseners in such abundance during 80s. Or even Jayasuriya's. On his day he treated Akthar like a medium pacer.

Yes but on his day he could take them apart still. I can see Lara taking down Kumble down in India at his pant. Can't say the same for him or Sachin, Richards etc doing the same to any top 5-10 pacer
Thing is it never happened in ODIs or tests. Kumble had Lara's number almost every time. Then Kumble had something that pace bowlers have, that is pace. He hit 115k in his prime with his top spinners.
Richards took to Hadlee and Imran many times. Give todays bats and attitude you can see them going too. Steyn had people climbing on him few times.
