The number of players who average more than their career average when the conditions are toigh should be very small. If we consider 40+ batsmen, I'd say 20 at max.

Uhm.

I don't know what that has to do with you reacting to my comment with that, mine was naming the three guys I believe were the best in low scoring games, Hobbs-Hutton-Herbert.

The method used isn't really the most accurate. It just takes low scoring matches into account, which massively depends on the batting strength of the players playing in the match rather than the actual pitch condition. To actually find player's performance on difficult wickets, one needs to do much more detailed research.

Batters performing on damaged wickets should feature high in the list.
