Well the Australian Domestic Season is about to get underway, so now is the time to say who you think will win.

I'm voting for my sacred Queensland. We have a great bowling depth which should get us through most games, I can see Kaspa topping the list again. Batting is our main problem with no foreseeable future stars coming through but I think with Martyn back in the test side, that should see us have Love until the Sri Lankan tour in Feburary and Maher we should have for the majority of the summer, he may get a few one-dayers. Symonds we will lose for the start and the middle due to one-day commitments, but he should be there for a good 6 or 7 games. Hopefully the young batsman can bat around them. And as for keepers, well I need to say nothing, as we have the best in the country, who showed good form with the bat last season.

Run with the Bulls!!!!

I will be getting to the GABBA as often as I can!

What part of Queensland do you live in Mister Wright? For me it is the Gold Coast (Symonds grew up here).

I have been to the GABBA a few times.

Blues all the way, best batting and best bowling :)

with plyaers like M Waugh, M Clarke, Bracken, Slater, Katich, Haddin

and ODI or test specialists in Bevan and S Waugh they will both play a fair few games.

Matt Nicholson is the new recruit and i think he will do well.

should buils on last seasons sucess

I don't really care but I've said the Tigers because a great servant of Somerset cricket, Jamie Cox, happens to play for them and it would be nice for him to win something this year!!

As far as I know these are the movements (someone please correct me if I have left people out or if I've stuffed up).

Qld - they haven't signed anyone from other states, but have signed a few more rookies. Scott Muller has retired again and Dale has moved to Victoria but not for cricket, but for work. Maher is captain.

N.S.W. - they have signed Nickolson (sp) from W.A. and have dropped Richards. Steve Waugh is captain, Katich in his absence.

Vic - they have dropped Klinger, not sure if they have signed anyone. White has been named captain. Tried hard for Ryan Campbell from W.A.

Tas - they held onto Watson who has one year left on his contract after Qld tried to get him back. He is strongly tipped to head back to the bulls after his contract ends to be closer to family. I think Ponting is captain and Cox takes the reigns when he's on international duties.

S.A. - these guys are the big movers. Andy Flower joins them from Zimbabwe and Essex (will be interesting to see what they do with their keepers this season). Damien Fleming has retired to become the Academy coach, which is moving to Brisbane. There are a few more, but I can't remember them. Lehmann will be captain, will also be interesting to see if Flower or Blewett get the captaincy while he is away.

W.A. - No major changes, I think Shaun Marsh has been added to the squad as a full member. There has been a change of coach too. Nicholson goes to N.S.W. but not sure if they have signed anyone. Langer is the captain and Hussey will be captain when he plays for Australia.

That is all I know.

Cheers,

Mr. W.

Eyes not spreadsheets
And so do I!

I shall be visiting a Test ground whilst out there, unfortunately not when any Cricket is being played.

My heart says SA but my head says NSW. However, SA will be more competitive this year. Look for a big year from the bowlers Paul Rofe and Shaun Tait, particularly Tait.

When I went to Hobart last year, it reminded me a little of West Auckland...so unfortunately they don't get my support.

Yeah, I liked Adelaide so South Australia gets my backing.

NSW, for obvious reasons.

Even if they do have a stupid name.
how so?

the Speedblitz is sponsored by the RTA (roads and traffic authority) they are used in adds that are anti speeding, encouraging people to slow down.
