To the contrary, it's our strongest team or joint strongest. Bowling's as good as has ever been(Kuldeep and Bumrah are amongst our great ODI bowlers, Siraj has been the best ODI bowler in the world for the past entire year).. Got 2 of the 3 greatest ever Ind ODI batsmen in the squad, the best young ODI batter in the world, number 4 and 5 have been in great form. Allrounders in good form as well(Hardik especially).

Ashwin is better pick than axar, nice option to have an off spinner in the squad. The only thing is Ashwin is slow in the field and his fielding is lackluster to say the least.

Seriously for god’s sakes, Ind won that series, and lost only one match. Plus Shubman(your best batter and best player of spin) and Hardin weren’t even there. It’s good for Ind that they lost right now, and not in the WC.

Ash, Jaddu and Kuldeep are our best spinners overall IMO, in that order. So this might work out well, esp. since Ash has added some power game to his batting and he can be a perfectly serviceable ODI #8. Still not thrilled about the 3 #11s after him but it is what it is.
