Are Rohit and Kohli bottlers in ODI knockouts?

Actually a lot of us here are big believers of a player's greatness can not get worse as long as they keep playing. It either stays the same or gets enhanced. It's why we think Tendulkar is so clearly the second greatest batsman alive.

Rohit and Kohli have been very impressive no doubt, but honestly they have so much more left to prove. A big performance in a WC KO game could have been just that. Shame it didn't come off.
Braddles died a long time back, mate.

But yes, I agree. Retiring earlier doesn't make you better. I see this applied selectively though. Richards is granted this liberty but Ponting isn't.

all subcontinental sides are terrible when it matters. the constant drag downs in this thread are just further evidence.

everybody knows the southern hemisphere is the true power of world sport. im not talking monetary like the subcontinent-america-chinese, or drug cheating like russia-china-pakistan, im talking raw natural power.

nature favours us. you can see this in someone like neil wagner, who is tiny and not very fast yet bullies everyone he plays with vicious bouncers. england keep wheeling out the likes of wood and plunkett in an attempt to copy him and india need a jasprit bumrah to even come close to his raw intimidation.

we are just better, and you all know it. this endless whining from some sections of pakistan, indian fans outside of cw and im sure the bangladeshis are still posting "tigers!" in some dark hole somewhere just reinfoces our natural superiority.

the southern hemisphere with nz in particular has always lead the way in freedom for humanity, in cooking, in innovation and discovery (we, nz, split atoms and climbed the mountain that could not be climbed) and of course in sports.

naturally the lesser nations try to copy us or use their imitations of our power for their petty ends. we split the atom and nations lacking penis power made bombs, we invented aggression rights so the english tried to copy us and forgot how to play away from motorways.

win, lose or draw the next game, through history you will see we cannot be stopped. it does not matter which sport, the southern hemisphere will always triumph. cricket is where our failed rugby players go to earn a few dollars for a living and still we crush the hopes and dreams of nations who live and breathe it like religion.

only through acceptance will you ever find peace. kneel, or you will be knelt.

We should kneel before a team that has never won a test series and ODI series in our country ? :D

The best bit was about the Bangladeshi posting tigers from a dark hole somewhere.

I nominate Flem to climb K2 in the winters to prove the Southern Hemisphere’s superiority.

Ponting had a close lbw shout go his own way in that final Vs India halfway through his innings. If that had been been given out we'd all be calling him a bottler. Luck and form matter a lot in a sample size of a few games.
Half of 140 is 70, not a bottler innings
