Hmm your PFLs are getting killed and it'll only get worse if FC actually works, I'd switch Disley's fielding net to a stamina net and give it to Schofield or whoever. I'd be flexible with who gets Fanyana's stamina net too. Basically you need to get those staminas up as quickly and painlessly as possible. Schofield is already very low on PFL so it doesn't matter if your hurt his PFL even more with a stamina net.

Yeah, was going to suggest changing Disley's fielding net and Fanyana's stamina net to stamina nets for Schofield and Giles. Schofield is a lost cause as far as playing him in matches this season is concerned, may as get his stamina up high enough to enable him to survive on 2-3 nets next season.

QF against the team that knocked me out last season:

Asterix XI won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 7: 75-1, runrate=10.71, reqrunrate=7.46 (171-4)
Qaba 2-0-25-0
Ashton* 41 (20 balls)
Cuss 33 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Watkins c. Blackman b. Stanford 1 (FOW: 12/1)

Watkins out for the first time in his BT20 career, but Ashton and Cuss gunning it so far.

Meh Ashton out, need a bit of luck to win now.

Wages are looking a tad grim, and I'm going to have to possibly look at expanding the stadium to bring in some extra revenue. Does anyone have the formula for ground size according to membership?

Akhtar £654 >£2054
Bewers £8488 >£12,703
Carlton £2853 >£3,349
Jeffery £6,231 >£6,547
Greening £14988 >£25,799
Noon £6709 >£13,509
Staveley £7714 >£11,655
Wilde £2709 >£6,356
Total Wages: £63,940 >£95,268

Which all means that I'm losing around £150K per week, before gate receipts.

Got knocked out of the BT20 at the 6th Round stage Today, against a team I could and should have beaten, but my ratings are starting to take a pounding. Will almost certainly rest everyone important for the 1st round cup game, so we'll look again at fitness once the FC and OD fixtures are up.

One Pop Today:

Joe Noon (444923)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, energetic
A steady player with respectable leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Plays For: Cymru Gurgitaters
Nationality: England
Age: 23 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 59,634 (+2730)
Wages: £13,509 p/w
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: *quality*
Batting: superb Concentration: exceptional
Bowling: worthless Consistency: respectable
Fielding: worthless

Excited yet nervous about the up-coming campaign!

my ratings are starting to take a pounding.
More to do with the morale/team fitness reset than anything else.

Had a good over (21 runs) following Ashton's dismissal, should win from here.

End of Over 16: 144-2, runrate=9.00, reqrunrate=7.00 (171-4)
Heelam 3-0-36-0
Osman* 24 (24 balls)
Cuss 71 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashton c. Bryant b. Douglas 44 (FOW: 82/2)

And the next over inexplicably goes for two runs, wtf.

Edit: won with one ball to spare, Cuss 85*, Osman 41*.

That wont update until the next finance update. You have to add it up yourself

My FC league is up, and ive already played a match. Sure, i cant see it, but i know ive had a draw, and my players took a hit on PFL. Good times.

FC leagues are up.

1. Asterix XI
2. Knuckleheads
3. Sandtigers
4. Inverts
5. The Resurrectionists
6. Best's XI
7. Caribbean Seagulls
8. Burlington City

Knuckleheads, Sandtigers and Burlington City all have WI NT players, so it won't be as easy as I was anticipating, but none of the other teams are any good as far as I'm aware.

Edit: actually, Inverts are pretty decent too.

Adam: pretty tough. Had both Knuckleheads & Sandtigers in my BT20, Knuckleheads are a well rounded team while Sandtigers will wear out their NT players with fitness I should imagine. (They're also carried by 4 players, which presumably is going to hurt in FC - once you get through the openers the rest rolls over.)

I got

1. The Bosstones - promoted after five seasons in II, looks like a well-rounded team but I think I could compete
2. Dynamo Morpork
3. Blue Hoops CC - played and lost to them in BT20, a good fielding unit
4. Barrocon - seems to accumulate players with weird names...Farquharson, Tšoeu, Remaketse. Good side but not much to form
5. Canton CC - couple of good seamers, made 238 in a BT20 knockout match
6. Cleveland Heights - 1 good batsman
7. CC Törööö - rubbish
8. lunja team - logs in once a month. :D

Looks like I will have two key games.

FC league looks pretty tough, I'm better than a couple of the sides, but it looks like the bottom 4 go down in England Div V (don't know about any other countries/divisions?) so it looks like relegation for me. That means I'll put all my efforts into surviving in my OD league, which incidentally is back up and is the same one as before. Not sure what happened there...

You'll Never Walk Alone
Should beat 4 or 5 of the sides in my FC League. But then again, I'm so unprepared and in debt, who knowzzzzzzz.

I'm screwed in first class, but I suppose it depends on what teams other people put out. OD should be a fairly comfortable middle-table finish. I guess I'll just have to only put my strongest side out when I really need it.

Only a 5932 wage increase as well. Nice.

League: FC IV.41

ends of the earth - no chance. Got tons of guns. (hehe)
The Emerald Knights - good, but beatable.
moose - good, bit better than TEK, but I reckon that I can scrape a result
Kamikase Kricket - good batting, pretty average bowling. Might be able to win.
Xanadu - One gun spinner. One player I can't figure out. Could beat them at home.
Lancashire Dynamoes - Should take two wins. A few useful players, but not much else.
LeBon Rockets - A team with no guns. Hard to work out. Bardle the key.

So yeah, all about Bardle. Shockingly :p
