Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Got walloped in my game against Kipper XI. Looking at the ratings though, you'd have expected me to come out on top, but there's no huge difference, so it's understandable.

Kipper XI 232 (47.0)
Dove 124 (108), Attwood 57 (105), Brown 18 (9)
Fernando 6/38 (9), Canning 2/33 (10)

Magical Ponies 130 (33.4)
Thatcher 33* (72), Parr 28 (42), Sutton 25 (33)
Vernon 3/20 (7), Byron 3/24 (6.4)

Kipper XI Magical Ponies
Top Order: competent respectable
Middle Order: feeble mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre respectable
Spin Bowling: respectable competent
Fielding: woeful abysmal
MOTM: Dove

Bit annoyed at only getting the respectable top order, given I had Tedstone (prof/med), Canning (superb/resp) and Griffin (superb/med). Guess the secondaries let me down.

Just for interest sake i thought i would look at mine:

Batting (Minimum 100 runs)
Code:
		[b]Runs	Average	SR	HS[/b]
Hocking 571	95.17	115.82	163*
Gravey 548	68.50	89.98	160
Hiller 448	112.00	110.07	112
Maughan 200	50.00	100.00	52
My keeper has 99 runs this season :p

No surprises in my runs. Expecting Hocking, Gravey and Hiller to make 1000 runs this season, should do it, as most of the teams in my league are walkovers.

Bowling (Minimum 5 wickets)

Code:
		[B]Wickets	Average	ER	BB[/B]
Poke 16	12.81	4.56	5-43
Wikus 14	13.93	3.61	5-27
Mitchell	13	24.85	6.33	4-15
Nkosi 8	20.00	4.71	3-29
Poulter 8	35.50	4.73	3-48
Apart from Mitchell, i am happy withmy bowlers ER, playing at home on a H&F, and having most under 5 is fairly good i think, Wikus should have more wickets though :(

Also won my friendly, fairly easily.

Bobisback 3/343 (50)
Gravey 106
Hocking 101
Hiller 50

Sheidow Warriors 82 (29.1)
Poke 3/16 (5)
Poulter 3/22 (9.1)

Code:

Whenuapai so far this season.

Code:
		Runs	Average SR HS
Duggan 1016 254.00 112.89 190*
Hamshaw 436 218.00 110.10 205*
Waddell 433 86.60 92.72 98*
Lennon 373 46.63 86.34 106
Fry 176 25.14 71.84 49
Willetts 142 142.00 117.36 80*
Really pleased with the way Duggan has gone this season. Far better than last season and this term he's up against some rather decent opposition. Hammertime will be a big test tomorrow, but I think he'll be up for it. Also pleased, that my other batsmen have been performing and supporting Duggan adequately so far.

Code:
		Wickets	Average	ER	BB
Mutasa 31 14.13 5.41 6/48
Lee 24 10.67 2.81 6/3
Sweeney 22 16.73 4.28 6/48
Hamshaw 13	24.00	4.33	5/7
Henshaw 13 30.92 4.84 4/37
Vermaak 5 35.20 4.51 2/35
Mutasa has ripped through several tales this season, but has been very expensive in doing so. Lee had a shocker on saturday, taking to pieces by two NZ NT batsmen, which is somewhat reflective of his own NT career to date. Otherwise he has been a very useful ool in strangling the opposition in the middle over. Sweeney continues to fight gamely and continues to improve. Hamshaw is doing just fine at last

I'm really sad with Henshaw's state of affairs. He has 153 wickets in his career to date, but now at the age of 30, and he appears to be finding division II somewhat beyond him. He is going to hang around for a while yet, but he seems past his best. Vermaak is one to watch out for in the coming seasons. He's not there yet, but this time next season, he should be hitting his straps.

Moodley 628	89.71	102.28	213*
Reet 266	53.2	127.88	94
Ahmed 184	61.33	98.4	75*
Guess the three guys I generally rely on... And those guys don't always produce either so lack of depth is worrying. Selling Reet too for 500k (currently) so need a replacement.
Code:
		Wickets	Average	ER	BB
Sekani 27	16.26	3.92	4/20
Bardle 21	22.76	4.64	6/16
Singh 18	22.89	5.22	3/4
Malik 17	21.47	4.87	4/35
Liyanage	14	33.14	4.42	5/40
Liyanage has been one of my best bowlers for past 2 seasons but now seems to not be cut out for it, not surprising given he's only a prof but there are people who are worse there who have taken more wickets at a better rate.

Again, lacking depth. Got Mamello to come in once his stamina gets above woeful.

Batting (Minimum 100 runs)

Code:
Name Runs	Average	SR	High Score
Hamid Gowshall	434	108.50	101.64	128*
Ken Nix 348	49.71	91.82	112
Dominic Kerwin*	266	44.33	101.14	114
Maurice Aldred	263	65.75	107.79	76*
Jlloyd Ndah	214	71.33	100.47	82*
*Includes runs in Australia Division V

As you may have guessed, these are my top 5, and they score the runs, and they do it quickly, too.

Bowling (Minimum 5 wickets)

Code:
Name Wickets	Average	ER	BB
Jordan Smith 23	9.43	3.62	4/23
Kevin Sugden 13	19.77	4.21	4/31
Maurice Aldred 12	12.50	3.13	3/28
Michael Johnson 11	15.55	3.89	3/7
Kirk Hinshelwood	6	34.67	4.43	3/11
With Bardle being rested, we rely on Smith, Sugden and Aldred for the wickets, with Johnson doing a good job. Maybe he should play instead of Hinshelwood in my full strength team.

Got thumped again in my cup game. :(

Boggles - 229/10

Chanderpaul 106 (105)
Bristow 48 (66)

Jai Hind 230/2

Sekani 1/33 (10)
Malik 1/66 (10)

My ratings have dropped considerably after my two losses this weekend..:(
Quite happy with round 7 though I guess but went out my first home game which smells.

Only got 29k attendance too, gutted. 1.3m in the bank now.

End of Over 7: 34-3, runrate=4.86
Dowdall 4-0-20-1
Aldred* 0 (0 balls)
Ndah 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Gowshall c. Clayton b. Dowdall 3 (FOW: 34/3)

Nix, Kerwin and Gowshall all gone, Aldred and Ndah to go. But there still a long way to go in this match, if i can do this to Jamee top order, there is no reason why he can't do the same.

58 all out. Only opener Lloyd made double figures. It's my first XI too .

Scored a decent win against a mid-table Div III team both of us were playing our First XI, a great confidence booster since I feel I can be compatative when I am back in the Div III next season.

Jamee ended up getting 231, a massive innings from Aldred, 116 (116). A pretty good total on a craked pitch IMO, should be a tough total to get. Dowdall got 3 wickets, Baptise and Priyantha both got two, with Jeitoon and Obeysekera getting one a piece.

Iwan Clegg 117 39.00 61.58 58
team doesn't need much batting, we bowl them out quickle and then Osman finishes it.

Bowling (Minimum 5 wickets)

Code:

Max Wotton 13	17.15	3.84 3/2
Graham is just plain awesome, and so is Freedman who is a legendery spinner.

Yeah I had a bot league last season in Aus Div. V. Screwed me over, really. I came so high up on the promotion table (top 20) and got promoted into a hard league, and am copping floggings every week. Losing 4 members per update at the moment.
