Also, I have to say, considering Kingkallis and Fuller Pilch were in agreement with Ataraxia in my argument with him regarding May earlier, which we concluded pretty well. You two were trying to vote Everton Weekes in who averages 24 in Australia, 33 in England and never played a single Test in South Africa, trying to act like May can be chasitised while you support him is nuts, get some self awareness.

I mean, yeah. Atleast May has Australia away. Weekes away record is legit quite poor

Alright bud nobody is gonna start rating West Indies Ben Duckett (Greenidge) above Weekes because the latter got sinusitis in England in 1957. Nice try tho

Frankly, that's a bit like saying he never played a single test in Gran Colombia.

Depth without a proper spine is useless. Jadeja at 6 in an ATG xi is atleast one spot too high. Just would look incredibly out of place when the number 6s we've selected so far are Sobers, Sangakkara, Border, Walcott, de villiers .
Exactly.

Depth doesn't and has never made up for quality. Especially not from the middle order.

He's a couple teams too high, and that's before considering he was chosen ahead if Worrell of all cricketers. Batting at 6 just compounds it.

Not to mention of course that away from home Jadeja is basically playing as a batsman.

This is beyond recency bias.

He is playing at 7 deservedly as the allrounder. Ames plays at 6.

Why did Verity make it before Laker?
I don’t think there’ll ever be a consensus on #4 spinner with the players we’ve currently got vying for it. They all have pluses and minuses and are extremely close. Results between them change from each poll.

Anwar often seems to be forgotten a bit amongst opener discussions. Played 5 innings as a non-opener which brought his overall average down by a whopping 1.5

Nice from @Line and Length to recognise Simpson, I think Worrell should be captain but Simpson getting a vote is very well deserved.

Lawry a big HTB.
