Hi all, for the AR position for no.6 in the lineup, I would ask you all to consider voting for Miller over Kallis.

Reasons:

- Hammond already effectively covers the 5th/6th bowler role that Kallis has.

- It would would allow second ATG XI to be an actual contrast to the batting heavy first XI with a bowling heavy second XI

- Miller allows an actual pace quartet of four radically different worldclass bowlers, Ambrose tall miserly, Imran reverser, Barnes mystery seam and classic swing with Miller, along with Murali.

- Let's try something new
He's no where near the batting quality required for the top 6 for a 2nd XI world team.

Hammond and Kallis are more than good enough with the ball to assist.

I urge people to pick a good keeper rather than a batsman who keeps a bit, you're keeping to Curtly Ambrose, Sydney Barnes and Muttiah Muralitharan.

I don't want to keep it the same, or try something different. I just want to make the best teams possible imo. Sanga idt is a good enough keeper for the second XI, and his batting suffered due to keeping workload as well. So I want knott here who's the ATG keeper and can still bat decently. Now we require more batting than Miller can provide, Kallis is a big improvement in that regard.
The 4 ATG bowlers with Kallis and Hammond both there are more than enough with the ball imo

Fully agree.

If you have Sanga in the top 6, Miller can be 7.

An ATG pace quartet would be something else, you ant dismiss it.

Sanga at least to Barnes and Murali I don't have an issue with. He was a safe keeper.

I also don't mind ABD. I back him to adapt to Murali.

Sanga isn't standing up to Barnes, and is quite frankly not a good enough keeper for the 2nd team. Knott is a master and is the only logical choice here.

Yeah I guess. Just makes the result feel more contrived to support an agenda which feels “against the spirit of the game”. But that’s just me.
But that's part of the debate. If folks disagree they can always suggest something else. Nobody is being forced here.

Sangakkara is interesting, he has shown he can keep to Murali and probably can handle Barnes too, but does anyone want to bat him at 6?
