ATVG Opener vs ATVG #5
AgreedLike seeing that this is close; think this is very tight.
Which breed are you referring to?Cook, probably the last of his breed (maybe Elgar but not in the same class). We're more likely to see a VVS-type than a Cook in the coming years.
I'd argue that Khawaja has been adopting much of that same breed recently. Think there will always be a place, despite bazball.Cook, probably the last of his breed (maybe Elgar but not in the same class). We're more likely to see a VVS-type than a Cook in the coming years.
Yet in terms of scoring rate, very little in it (Laxman 49 v 46 Cook). Laxman probably had more gears but was a poor converter (17 x 100, 56 x 50, would make Ian Bell squirm).Cook, probably the last of his breed (maybe Elgar but not in the same class). I see your 281 and will raise you by 13VVS because of the 281
ultimatelywhen you have people of similar quality you pick the player who Played arguably the greatest innings of all time
Yeah quite an anomaly but I imagine that is partly due to batting with the tail and farming the strike. Also some of the worst knees on a Test batsman since Martin Crowe. Certainly wasn't lacking in the strokeplay department.Yet in terms of scoring rate, very little in it (Laxman 49 v 46 Cook).
