Adventures on International Cricket Captain 2019

Whatever it takes!!!
Guess it was a flat wicket all along and AI had them set aggressive fields going for the win which resulted in a big fast start for India. Think England Vs India Chennai 2008, same template.

Lol.. the sim seems to think Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, Rishab Pant and Kuldeep Yadav are absolute guns. But I have seen Kohli, Smith fail like no one's business. Think botth of them average below 50 and I am in the year 2023. Root and KW seem to be on fire though. RSA is ridiculously strong for whatever reason. They blanked us (India) 3-0 in RSA. NZ blanked us 2-0 in NZ too, so some things do seem real.

Well, we are in actual 2023 but RSA being great aside and Smith coming back to form, the sim seems to know what it's doing? ?

I think in a 2014 game once I had Daryl Mitchell averaging 70 in tests

ICC Sim knows better than CW apparently.

So the semis happened. India topped the league with 8 wins off 9 games and we got Afghanistan in the semis. Blew them away as expected.
This was so close to how the real 2023 WC went. :(

Anyways, I am now playing Real Cricket 24 - a different game. I am playing the WTC cycle from 2023-2025. Currently in the England tour of India for 5 tests. The computer definitely bazballed up England's batting but funnily enough, its so random that they end up with around 3.5 run rates anyways by the end of each innings.

Completed the first test. India batted first and made 485. Good runs for the main batters. And unfortunately for @Red_Ink_Squid , Woakes bowled 7 overs with an ER of 21 and did not bowl again. Root keeps getting wickets in this game.

England batted next in dry conditions, Crawley was dismissed second ball poking outside off to Bumrah and caught at first slip, Pope keeps looking the best batter in the game (maybe he is the game developers' favorite player), Root blocked a lot, Duckett tried to break free and got out and Stokes boshed a few with Bairstow (whom the game insists on calling JONATHAN BAIRSTOW in caps in every graphic, even partnership ones where others are only mentioned by last name, lol) and the rest got bowled out. They followed on, Crawley was bowled off Bumrah first ball this time, then more rinse and repeat of the first innings and finally bowled out. For some reason, the game insists on batting Woakes at 11 after Anderson, and also thinks Tom Hartley is a right hand batsman (it also thinks Tagenarine Chanderpaul is a right hand batsman).

Will try to add the scorecard images in a bit.
