Just looking at the ICC awards... is it just me because I'm so tired, or has Ponting done a Warney with his hair?

I noticed Ponting was a little thin on top when bowling in India in '01. Not sure if he's done something about it of late, as I haven't seen him without a hat on on the field for a while.

Hearld Sun reported that Ponting has admitted to going to advanced hair studios but not sure whether to believe them or not.
It was in one of those small boxes in sports sections 4 or 5 days back.

I seen him accepted his two awards from the ICC awards and it definately looked like he had been having some sort of treatment.

Brings up that famous bumper sticker quote:
"Is that the truth or did you read it in the Herald Sun?"

Balding Man Grows Hair Back!

Have I missed something? What's the story with doing something any guy with any sense will do?

Transplant from elsewhere for mine. Hairiest forearms in cricket so clearly has the raw material to work with.

Thread starter was curious, it wasn't meant to be a subject of heated debate.

You have to have more than sense to to it. You need the money. Can cost up to $10,000 and it's not a cure, so you have to keep paying for it for as long as you want it. If you don't continue, you lose your hair again and money down the drain.

However, I did read a report in the paper a few weeks back that there is a cure coming, us poor sufferers only have to wait another 10 years.

UIMM there are shampoos (in fact I know for certain there are - my Dad uses 'em and I fully intend to when I need to) which do the job that AHS do for $10,000. Never understood what the difference is.

Reckon Simon Katich could give him a good run for his money tbh. Probably why he was dropped.
