Jamie Smith ****ed it there, the plan was obvious, but he carried on wafting once too many. I suppose I can’t grumble too much at Overton’s LBW as it was projected to hit the stumps, but it was umpire’s call and he took soooooo long to give it. Oh well, well done India, 2-2 is a fair result you have to say

3 series versus india and australia including 2 at home
zero series wins

this lot are done once australia hand down another biblical ashes beat down on them.
The -0 part is pretty much locked in. the first number depends on rain and other external factors if the pitch is flat etc. If theres no rain and no flat decks, itll be 5-0 Australia, given the current form the quartet of pace bowlers are in.

Thank **** for Siraj. What a spell by him today, what a game, what a series.

England certainly helped us by picking two passengers in the XI, and losing Woakes as early as they did meant this game was effectively 10 Vs 11. Was a ridiculously close game despite this.

Bumrah panauti confirmed.

Shame England didn't chase this. Highest chase here was THAT gilbert Jessop fastest 100 game that kept popping up early in the stokes regime. Would have been nice to top that chase and finally go past Jessop.

Lost by 6 chasing 374 on a green top.
Cricket web posters: disgraceful from England
I mean yeah I personally don't actually feel England did an enormous amount wrong this morning, it just happened to be near perfect bowling conditions, it was difficult to score, and the inevitable monster that is the momentum for the bowling side in the 4th innings when they get on a roll reared its ugly head.

Yeah Brook's dismissal let them back in, but he was the main reason they got even vaguely close anyway

The right series result - India deserved a share of the spoils no doubt.

From an England perspective - this is where their decision making is utterly pathetic. Brook had the game in his hands, with over a days play left on the clock.

He got out charging.

Bethell had the same task- a handful to guide us home. He got out charging.

I have never, ever seen a more flimsy team in terms of decisions under pressure. It’s exciting, but they just don’t know when to be smart.

I utterly dread the Aussie tour.
