I like Broad the commentator but the ex-player as consummate TV presenter, as opposed to simply an expert guest, in the vein of the old Channel 9/Sky crew or even the "younger" pair of Hussain-Atherton seems an increasingly rare species. Broad might grow into his role yet but it's a very specific skillset that few recent retirees have been good at.

Woakes has been ok since that horrible first over, right? Someone please tell me I'm not just seeing what I want to see...
Yep, I think these two are very lucky to still be at the crease (Nair in particular) and Woakes looked much better when he changed ends.

It's looking a lot more comfortable now for Rahul and Nair since Jofra has had a spell.

Stokes may be tempted to give him another burst but he is racehorse not a workhorse.
