Ehhhh I’ve seen worse two’s successfully run. A slightly weaker throw and he was fine.

So in tests Lab is permanent 3 and Smith 4

But its reversed for ODIs seemingly

Does that seem kinda weird to anyone? Have any other successful long term 3/4 batsmen done similar

Well Mark Waugh was the Test 4 and Gilly Test 7 but they formed one of the best ODI opening partnerships. Tests and ODI batting line-ups are not related.

What a cover drive (and the slog sweep). Smith's not looked shaky at all tonight. Think we let the horses bolt for the summer last game itself.

FMD look at this **** from Smith. Even live, for some reason he has a style where you can almost see his wrists manoeuvre the ball into gaps. Heaps of other blokes do it too, don’t get me wrong, but for some reason his technique or set up makes it easier to spot/ see as he plays a shot. Weird but compelling.

Whatever it takes!!!
hes looked less troubled in his first30 odd today than he did Friday tbh
Yeah that Dhawan drop really seems to have been the turning point. TBF, his team won the toss and batted first and he is coming after very solid opening stands both games but he just looks in such good touch with every ball he is facing. It is going exactly where he wants it to. Very ominous signs if the test pitches remain flat.

Has anyone gone for 80+ in successive games before? Saini seeing his career disintegrate on the field of play.

Agarwal forced to bowl. Team body language shot.

Good to see Pandya back bowling. Just hope he doesn’t hurt himself again. Good cricketer
