T&T gets 1st innings points with an 11-run lead. 6 wickets for Dwayne Bravo - 6/70. He certainly is a talent.
Odds for people likely to make their debut for the West Indies.

Odds 10/1:
Bennett
Babwah
Bravo

The three B's

Please do enlighten us as to why?
Because he knows nothing about WI cricket.

I'm shortening the odds of Bennett of playing for the WI to 5-2.

I think Bravo will make it before Babwah, but I don't think he's a mature enough batsman to be in the team as yet. Perhaps by the end of the Cup he would have changed my mind.

Is Viv Richards' son playing in the Carib Cup ?
I think he was in the Leeewards' training squad pre-tournament.

Have they done something with it since the Aussie test match? From memory, wasn't it so lifeless then that Ganga made a ton?!

Ganga's hundreds came at the QPO and Bourda and they were due to very good batting. Yes, Ganga may be a Test failure, but give him credit where it's due. He is capable of occasionally batting well.

I'm not sure. The only thing I can think of is stupidity. We're not going to breed quality pacers with these pitches and we're not going to breed quality spinners eaither. What's the point? I haven't a clue and apparently neither does the WICB.

Well Morris Odumbe certainly seems to be making a name for himself, a ten wicket haul and a fifty in one game. Ive always liked him and through the few Kenya games I have seen, seems a talented allrounder.

Wouldnt that be the onus of the respective island cricket Associations?

Ie Babardos, Jamaica etc.

The respective islands have the immediate responsibilty, but the WICB has the overall responsibility and should therefore ensure that these things are done. Also, the WICB I believe is the one shelling out the money.

If they hand out grants etc. then yes.

I kind of lost faith in the WICB from what I have heard/read.

Yet you have faith in the cricket control boards of the individual islands?

Like them or hate them the WICB is the organization responsible for West Indies cricket.

Craig

I dont think I said I had faith individual cricket boards. I checked previous comments for that.

Well your comment above my last one suggested that. Someone has to tend to it and you seemed to be saying that you have more faith in the individual boards than the WICB.

By handing out grants I took that you mean assigning responsibility. Basically my point is that the WICB should take full responsibility for such things as pitches.
