1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Averaging 17 over 12 test matches in AUSTRALIA as an opposition fast bowler is insane. Nobody does that.
TBF, Steyn era Australia and current Australia are very different wickets wise, I'd pay good money to see Steyn vs current Australia in current Australian conditions. That said, I agree, I have Bumrah in top 4 tourists of Australia in the history of the sport, not just modern era

England pace attack vs Indian pace attack minus Bumrah is a great comparison!
i think Eng might be descending to minnow level- with the ball atleast. Batting looks fine - Crawley has to go, surely they can find better than him- 31 AVE?

SAF, Aus are the top 2 teams with the pace attack. Aus will drop to minnow once the big four retire(pat, haze, starc and boland - several are imminent as are borderline 35 year olds), leaving SAF as the no.1 side until Rabada retires(hes still only 30, Ngidi 29 and Jansen is still only 25!).

I think Bumrah would end up like Tiger O'Reilly, maybe the GOAT in bowling but won't have the career due to factors beyond his control.

England's strength lies in the batting lineup, Crawley is the weakest batter and only plays because of his daddy, you can do your research from there.

Surely Crawley has to go? Test batting ave of 31 is ordinary.
He averages around 30 in FC. He does as well at Test level as you should expect. It's not good enough but it's not like it's his fault. He just isn't anything like an international bat.
