Rebel Tour to South Africa Announced
Following a rift between fast bowler Andy Cameron and the TFCC administration, the fiery young quick has organised a rebel tour to South Africa, taking with him 10 other players. The two teams will play a one-off test. The side representing the Testing Forum, who will play under the name of Testing Forum XI, is as follows:

Cameron had reportedly been planning such a tour for a while, and although some players knocked back his offer, he had no real trouble finding a strong cricket team.

Testing Forum XI vs. South Africa
The game, the first ever played by the rebel team Testing Forum XI, was a success, both financially and for the new team. The ground was reportedly sold out, with the television coverage receiving similar encouraging figures.
The game itself started out somewhat rocky for the rebels, being bowled out for 275 as Andre Nel and Nicky Boje took 3 a piece. The Testing Forum XI was left grateful for their long tail, with Jack McNamara top scoring with a gallant 47 off 91.
Things only compounded for Cameron's team, with the South Africans coming out strong. Graeme Smith, in particular, stood out with his captains knock of 123. He failed to find any solid partners, however, as almost all of the batsmen made starts but didn't capitalise, with only Boucher and Pollock making decent scores. Cameron and Chawla both took 3 as the home team was all out for 355.
Jack McNamara again proved his worth with the bat in the second innings for the Testing Forum XI, as he nurdled his way to an unbeaten hundred, after Craigos, Gray and Weber had each knotched up half centuries. Shaun Pollock's 5 wickets could not stop the visitors from posting 401, leaving the Saffies 322 to win.
Captain Andy Cameron, responsible for organising this tour, got the fourth innings off to the best possible start by taking openers Smith and Gibbs for ducks. Chawla and Popat each chipped in with wickets, as the match slipped out of the South Africans grip, with only Rudolph and Boucher standing tall with the bat. Cameron eventually took 6/68, and the man of the match award, as he led his team to victory, sending a resounding message to those selectors who had snubbed him earlier.
