Yer lol i can wait i dont mind Liam, but if ya get the time ill take a look at my moral and playing types.

Cheers

Blacks we really need to stop mucking around and playing some cricket. We've got our full strenght team now so theres no more excuses. Hopefully my 44 from the match just gone will hit me into some kind of teeny weeny form.. (lets hope so anyway).

I think we are only a quarter away through the season, so you would think so. Out of interest who else did the Blacks lose for this season apart from MB.
We also lost Hing, who had a fairly good season.

Decent game by myself, but overall a very poor game for the blacks

Cricket Web Blue vs Cricket Web Red
at the PDV Dome

An unbeaten half-century from DeSilva was critical for Blue, as they chased down CW Red's total of 218 with clinical precision. Kenny Dobson was the lone light for Red with the bat, and Sean Fuller and Adam Collins took 4 apiece for Blue.

CW Red 218 ao (49.4 overs)
CW Blue 219/3 (46 overs)

CW Blue won by 7 wickets
Man of the Match: SE Fuller

Cricket Web Green vs Cricket Web Colts
at the CWBCC Stadium

Jack McNamara gave a worthy show with the ball, but his efforts weren't enough to lift the Colts to victory over Green. Ultimately Green cruised home with 6 wickets intact, as Feeney scored an unbeaten half-century. The destroyer for Green with the ball was none other than Andrew Garven, taking a maiden 5 wicket haul to stun the Colts from 103/0 to 222 all out.

CW Colts 222 ao (47.1 overs)
CW Green 223/4 (43.4 overs)

CW Green won by 6 wickets
Man of the Match: AJ Garven

Well done Blue, top notch performance once again. Great work from all the bowlers, Sean in particular with that three wicket burst early on. Excellent economy from Demeza, Patrick and Camps. Happy with my own performance as well, my best OD figures to date I think.

Liam and Dinu set up the run-chase very well after the early wicket, and Sean capped off an excellent allround performance to earn him a well-deserved MotM.

Well what can you say? Clinical performance. Excellent to bowl them out as we did, held our catches well, and everyone chipped in by either keeping the runs down or taking wickets, and then Dinu anchored the chase superbly, putting up with some farcical appealing from the reds to bat the length of the innings and forge partnerships of 90 and 74 with Liam and myself, and then the last 39 with Wilshere.

If we play like that every time we go out there, it's hard to see how we can lose.

Frankly, it just seemed to me as the game slipped away from the reds they started appealing for every little thing. How else do you explain three huge shouts in four balls? The team conduct with regard to the umpiring calls wasn't the greatest either.

If your batsmen started realising they had something in their hands for a reason, it might help.

That's the way, pay out our batsmen after your team contrived to get bowled out in a one-dayer. :)

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realise there are limits on how many times you can get a batsman plumb and appeal. I would like to formally apologise for exceding my quota 8-)

I think the key point is whether or not they were plumb, and the constant response from the umpire in the negative suggests they were not.
