Man of the Match: A Feeney

A tough match. It didn't do a lot to seperate the teams really... I think our bowling struggled more than expected, but in the absence of a small opposition total our batting stood up nicely, fantastic stuff from Cloete with a trademark dominant hundred, and Camps batted well with the tail, and Pete got a 50 in each innings and batted well with me on the final day when we just had to survive. Adam was brilliant with the ball, and Patrick solid, but unfortunately Trav lacked a bit of the accuracy he's found this year. The big decline from the last game though is our fielding... we dropped TWENTY catches in the match, which is simply shocking, after dropping just three last time. Young and Demeza the big offenders. If we'd held our catches I think we could have pushed for the win, but all in all you can't complain with an even draw given how badly we worked in the field.

3 wins and a draw from the first quarter of FC games, which is good stuff.

I'd say we were on top of them though!

Indeed - neither the bowlers nor batsmen stood up when it mattered there, fourth innings bowling appalling...

Training ground. 8am. Tomorrow morning.

Not a bad effort guys, we certainly did pretty well with the bat, im very happy with my first century of the season, even if i did get out to nath *Morale hits rock bottom*

Lezama and Feeney showed class in the 2nd dig too

Cloete got runs against us which is dissapointing but we got him cheap in the 2nd innings.

the bowling was solid without having too much flair. the 2nd innings was looking much better than the first. we do need someone to take control and get the key breakthroughs with the ball though

Great win Colts. Exceptional effort from Mamesh, McKern and Jasotharan. That is our finest performance of the season. After being behind by so much after the first innings we really needed to step up and that's what we did. Let's keep this up fellas.
