5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

I love Ben Stokes and Baz but the saving test cricket and the invention of aggressive batting was ridiculous. That said, English cricket is so much better fot it. Would have been destroyed this series without it

Is Waqar Younis an ATG test bowler?

    This is not a debate

Better Batsman : Jadeja vs Imran

No one said it’s not close. I’d view them as the most direct comparable on batting for a number of reasons. But lot of arguments to bring Jadeja down here aren’t valid (and I would agree the same on Imran). Both were bits and pieces batters who willed their way into being high quality test class...

Shakib Al Hasan vs Joe Root

    Gordon Greenidge vs Everton Weekes

still sore at how Gower and the English were owned by Greenidge and the Windies. Some of those matches were just cruel and the whining that came with it because the English couldn’t handle the heat…

Better Batsman : Jadeja vs Imran

well Imran never had a series like the last one

Better Batsman : Jadeja vs Imran

also the rate of going past 50 and going past 100 is so much higher for Jadeja. This one isn’t that much of an argument. The only argument you can make for Imran is “I like him better”

*Official* India tour of England 2025 General Discussion

Edgbasron - England had to bat 90 overs on a super flat pitch. Most teams save the game Old Trafford - India had to bat 150 overs down 0/2. A draw in that situation is without precedent however flat the pitch.

*Official* India tour of England 2025 General Discussion

I think the thing that made this series interesting is that India SHOULD have won at Headingley but lost England SHOULD have drawn at Edgbaston but lost India SHOULD have won at Lords but lost England SHOUD have won at Old Trafford but drew England SHOULD have won at the Oval but lost...

    Top 10 Indian Cricketers

Dravid and Dev over Bumrah for me… illogically

Better Batsman : Jadeja vs Imran

you can’t call someone a 50 scoring specialist and then note the not outs because those could be 100s as well, I’m not sure there is such a thing as a 50 scoring specialist. Thats why we have average as the primary method yo rate a batsman,

    Split these cricketers into tiers

same as Imran and Hadlee. Don’t see any real distinctoon
  17. M

Better Batsman : Jadeja vs Imran

even that would be a mistake, he should have walked in to the side for batting last five years

    Rank these legendary batsman

Actually explains a lot, certainly on reputation which the older the players get the more I value there was no difference
