**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

I agree they can't drop him, although I would be tempted as he's too hit and miss still in my mind. Are you seriously calling him one of our best players though?

    Wisden on Murali's Action

Fixed your post for you. Just the odd minor inaccuracy.

What went wrong in the Ashes series?

Oh get with it PEWS, clearly S Marsh and Watson open (as Rogers is dropped for wanting to retire and Warner is batting 7), then there's space for Smith, Clarke and M Marsh at 3-5 and Haddin at 6 - simples.

    Wisden on Murali's Action

I'm guessing it's because Murali's not Australian, seeing as he then backs it up with such scientific processes as using a protractor on a TV screen.

How did Bradman get as good as he did?

Stop talking bollocks. In WG's time scores were a lot lower across the board which makes things a lot harder to compare. In Bradman's era they're broadly similar to modern day, except for one man who was just about twice as good as anyone else. By attempting to deny his ability and knocking...

***Official*** India in Sri Lanka 2015

Thought he was being picked as an all rounder? If he's only a 5th bowler you'd want at least 10 more runs on that average (unless you're a fan of England mid 90s and the Ronnie Irani's of the world).

How did Bradman get as good as he did?

Depends on your definition of ATGs but looking at that list I'm confident he would've done.

Playing Selector: Wicket-Keeper for the Team of the 1990's

To be fair, if the bar is set as better than Dhoni then it's not a high bar.

PEWS, please explain to me why CaptainGrumpy is allowed to pollute the forum so much?

Pick the Other Guys' Team Draft

If I was playing I'd be organising a gang up on him for taking Bradman on a technicality and getting everyone else to pick a load of **** for him. Sure, he can retaliate by picking a **** player for each of you but that just means you all up with 10 good players and one dud but he ends up with...

How did Bradman get as good as he did?

You do realise that by saying that you are effectively writing every other batsman from his era as rubbish as they were so far behind him. That's what makes this line of thinking a load of codswallop.

    ***Official*** English Domestic Season 2015

Would he even qualify for a work permit? Also, didn't someone mention that he can be barred because of his conviction?

Playing Selector: Wicket-Keeper for the Team of the 1990's

Note that this "keeper of the century" refers to Australian keepers.

    cricrate: new cricket ratings website

Good player maybe but better than the list of people he's ranked ahead of is bollocks.

**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

As a specialist bat I'm not so sure to be honest. Someone like James Taylor should be ahead of him if he's not bowling.

**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

If he isn't then I personally don't see how you can justify picking him.

**Official** Pakistan and England in the UAE 2015/16

Moeen opening effectively means we're playing 6 bowlers. Strikes me as a bit of overkill.

    Underrated players

On MacGill, I always had the feeling that his career benefitted from playing with Warne. Whenever he played as a second spinner it meant the wicket was going to be more suited to spin bowlers and batsmen would aim to take risks against him rather than Warne which helped him get them out.

BT Sport to show Ashes in 2017-18

It's 5 to 1 so off for the regional news.
