    1st June - Group A - England v Bangladesh

So the 0.4 per over difference in run rates over the past 2 years means nothing then?

    1st June - Group A - England v Bangladesh

Spot on. I was confused by Cricinfo listing 7 wins but 5 losses. Turns out there's 2 where the chasing team has scored 350 to win. In fact 350+ has only been scored 10 times in the 2nd innings of matches.

    Three strikes

England. Assume a missed pick is a strike?

350 has been scored batting first on 94 occasions. 350+ has been chased down 5 times, once against England and 4 times against Australia...

*** Official*** South Africa in England 2017

Yes, the first 3 wickets weren't great but they were at least earned. Numbers 4, 5 and 6 were shocking shots at the best of times but when you're in that sort of position you do need to engage your brain.

There's what, 2 free spots for specialist non-opening batsmen? In that case, which of Root and Morgan does he displace. Saw he was opening for Yorkshire, so is there an argument for him going in in place of the overhyped Roy?

I think there was a stat on TMS that since the World Cup they've scored at 6.2 per over and the next highest is SA on 5.8. That's one reason why people are talking of them as favourites for the Champions Trophy.

So what's been going on with the ball then?

Are England really favourites for CT17?

It's not 6 months though is it? He's not played in almost a year so calling it just coming off an injury does seem a little bit stretching the truth. Far too many question marks over him at this stage.

Are England really favourites for CT17?

Surely if he's coming off an injury and needs match overs to get better he'd not have missed the first 2 games in this series though?

Your Two Thousand and Twenty Two Test side

Pretty sure Burgey's already played 156 Tests.

Are England really favourites for CT17?

One article here and there is not the whole media, is it that hard to understand? Quit the hyperbole. It's worth noting that the bookmakers, you know that group of people who know what they're talking about, also have England as favourites. I also guess that AB de Villiers in that article on...

Are England really favourites for CT17?

Come on Adders, £1.50 is cheap compared to the flights and time off work you'd need to take to get here, just to read one single article that is now apparently the whole media...

Oh yes, his average and strike rate is dreadful isn't it considering the role he plays in the team.

Great performance by the team. How can I best convince the wife that we go out for a late dinner next Saturday now?

Glad I took a 4 point hit to bring Kane in.

Why England don't rate Willey's batting?

For me he shouldn't be in the team. Not a good enough bowler to rely upon and his only batting success domestically is opening which he's clearly not hot a hope in hell of doing.

    Fantasy Premier League Draft

1 point in it. I know I've been confused by the scheduling around these last few rounds, would've made some different picks if I'd realised the games didn't run the same as the premier league fantasy schedule. In for next year by the way.
