    We'll never know. I still have a suspicion that there were a number of successful county bowlers who wouldn't transfer those numbers to Test cricket. We've tried a number over the years who have got great numbers in county because that style of bowling is far too good for that level of batsmen...

    For a start, what is wrong with DLS? I don't hate it, but think it to be far and away the fairest way of dealing with rain affected games.

    Is an off spinning 5th bowler really that good an option though, bearing in mind how the Australian wickets tend to go for spinners? As such surely the bowling of Maxwell is a non-factor, especially considering it isn't actually that good in any event?
