Dream ODI XI: Vote for the SPINNER

Warne. I posted in the other thread about how given very a good pace attack, I'd prefer the slightly bigger X-factor to the machine.

    All-time Northern vs. Southern Hemisphere

    Sachin and Sobers are volatile?

    Random country draft

I'll take Imran Khan. Team so far: - - - Jayawardene Donnelly Imran Kapil Dev - Donald O'Reilly Barnes Aside from an abject lack of a top-order, tis shaping up nicely.

    All-time Northern vs. Southern Hemisphere

Sums up my feelings on the subject. They're a clear =3 in opener stakes, behind Hobbs, and ahead of Sutcliffe and Richards and the mythical Grace and Trumper.

Dream ODI XI: Choose THREE fast bowlers

That's why I went for Imran.

    All-time Northern vs. Southern Hemisphere

Bradman makes it possible to make a call, otherwise, it would be virtually impossible to do so. I'd opt for Miller over Kallis - no disrespect to Jacques, but given the top 5, I think Miller's better bowling is more valuable to the team than Kallis' better batting. My personal teams would...

Dream ODI XI: Select the TWO opening batsmen

Can't think of any other keeper who's likely to get into the team who you'd want with the gloves ahead of him. Ignoring batting and talking purely about their merits as wicket-keepers, I'd have Gilchrist ahead of Dhoni, and there wouldn't be anyone else as a keeper close to being selected...

Dream ODI XI: Choose THREE fast bowlers

And he did that in a time when powerplays etc had come in and scores were generally getting bigger.

    Random country draft

Just HB and Blakus to go now in this round before we get into round 7.

    Random country draft

Would have taken Hammond for sure except I'm following a strategy of getting my bowlers first whereever it's not patently foolish to do so.

Mick and Licuria both had a go. Wonder what Mick said to Milne to get him so upset? "No means no" perhaps?

Epic turnaround for Boomer. Surely after years of people beating up their midget, WCE should have a better idea as to how to ruin a runt's day?

Dream ODI XI: Choose THREE fast bowlers

McGrath Garner Imran (as one of the bowling allrounders)
