No he hasn't. I agree there. I'm just wondering what he has done to be picked. Did he take a load of FC wickets?

Even crap bowlers do bowl decent deliveries every once in a while. I'm still wondering why Plunkett was picked.

Not out indeed! I agree. Does he have a ton in England at all?

To his credit: I do remember some sensible batting by Broad. The Cardiff Test (where Anderson & Panesar ended not out): just the 14 runs in an hour of batting and one of the draws in SA, where he got a duck, after spending half an hour in the middle.

Too early, I think. Once the score is past 425, trying to slog it away from SL is ok. England's tail is good enough to get them to 500.

Like most here I figured that was out as out can be out. but replays showed the impact to be only marginally within the line of off. Can't say it was poor umpiring then!

But why Plunkett??? Is he really going to be involved in England going forward?

Having missed all of the built-up and havinf missed the morning session, I have two questions: -Why did the Sri Lankans send the English in? Was it overcast earlier on? Or what? -What did Plunkett do to be picked ahead of Bresnan, Finn, Onions, Tremlett, Stokes, Borthwick, Rankin, or any half...

You couldn't be more wrong :) ! Living in NL, WI tests start at 5pm. Which means they are the only Tests I can properly watch at home, rather than at work :) .

According to Cricinfo both Roach & Taylor have been named for the first Test. Now that's something I've been looking forward to for years. And something I figured would just not happen anymore. Roach has been out for over a year and Taylor for nearly 5 years! It would be nice for the Windies to...

Well, Taylor had that coming. He looked clueless to Herath's bowling!

How about this, Brendon: If your team needs a run-a-ball, dancing out of the crease 4th ball is only a good idea if you have put money on the opposition to win........
