One might argue such a team win doesn't need a MotM.

Yeah, he does. I just checked some stats. No English keeper has taken more dismissals per innings (in 2016), if that's something to go by.

What about a keeper that bats on 9 or 10? But is a real class keeper? Wasn't the easiest chance, but Jonny was nowhere near it.

Well mr Amla, that was not exactly the shot of a man out of form!

    43.3 overs on day 4.

I remember Alastair Cook being on the pitch for the whole match a couple of years back. But that match might very well not have lasted until tea on day 4.

Indeed. Didn't spot it before the replay.

Wow, that nipped back in quite a bit! I guess many a very good batsman would been done in by that.

It's a bit cynical, but if Hales screws up by getting out early, and Compton does well coming in early, England might get the answer to two questions. I must say I can see Hales getting through properly. He did show a lot of promis in FC cricket. If England do need a new top/middle order...

I'm not so sure about that. A run-a-ball so far. And I don't think Cook will declare as soon as the lead is 400. He'll declare at tea. It's imho the right thing (I know there's a gazillion of you who think that's too late). And that might give Jonny a chance to get to 100.

Figured the impact would be outside off (or at least umpires call). Good review then.

Don't you worry then. They will get there!

Rather 300 than 350, me thinks.

Do we have an early start today too? Or have all lost overs been made up?

Good MORNING all. I just got out of bed. Has Jason Holder been edging his way to 68* ? Or was his innings more decent than the false strokes I got to see right now?

Well, he didn't need much time to move out of it a bit!
