    Any pressure on Damien Martyn?

Would there be? He hasnt made a Test century for nearly two years and if he doesnt make one would his spot be in danger?

    Stuart Law seeks British citizinship

I read today that when Stuart Law goes to England next year he will be seeking citizinship in two years or as soon as possible. But the thing is he hasnt ruled out playing for England, but he said his heart wouldnt be in it. Law is 35 so he would have no chance of doing that.

Fulton a bolter for England 2004

Well Canterbury batsman Peter Fulton has been in some very good form this season in the State Championship (four-day cricket for those who dont know) and I am wondering if he keeps it up, maybe he's a bolter for a spot in the tour to England with the Black Caps next year? He's made a couple of...

Things that should be changed in cricket

I discussed my first I would change with Mr M on MSN and told me his rule change. I am sure he will post his. Anyway this mine: If a team has a reserve wicket keeper in their squad and if main 'keeper (the one who's playing) gets injuried, then then the reserve 'keeper should come on and...

    What's happened to Chris Martin?

Injuries, poor form? Or no spot for him in the NZ team? David and I were talking about this on MSN yeasterday or the day before and he did say he is tall, accurate but not quick and hits the deck hard. He is perhaps a worse of a batsman then Glenn McGrath and that probably takes some achievement!

    Mitchell fired

It had to happen, John Mitchell got the sack and Graham Henry got the job. Of course Henry used to coach the Principilty of Wales and the British and Irish Lions. Mitchell was probably better quiting after NZ got knocked out and saved everybody time as there probably not much chance of him...

    Field placings

I would to go with something that is purely tatical today in the subject of field placings. I notice all the different field settings by captains and I even picture where I would put the fielders if I were the captain on the field. for me one thing I do notice is that when tailenders or lower...

    Brian Lara's form in 2003

IMO with the exception of 1994, this year is perhaps his best year in terms of run scoring. He has been simply magnificant this year since last year he was struck down by that illness in Sri Lanka, had a good WC, the series against Australia in both forms of the game until now.

    Era of flat pitches

What is up with cricket boards so obessed with flat batting wickets.? In the subcontentient you bat first generally if you win the toss, same in the Caribbean, and I would say at most Australian grounds if not all. At Newlands and the Bullring generally IMO they are flat good batting wickets...

    Nasser Hussain comments

Apprantly he is in a lot of trouble for calling Muttiah Muralitharan 'a ******* cheat and a ******* chucker.' And so the Sri Lankan management made a official complant to Clive Lloyd. One thing I have learnt out of this is that Hussain is a pretty rich man with to much many and needs up...

    Milan releases Rivaldo

Yep AC Milan have released Rivaldo from his contract. It will be interesting where he will go. He will likely go to Liverpool, however IMO he is better off joining a club like Bolton.

    Australia get revenge on England

In Women's Hockey Australia got revenge on England by trashing them 5-0, although one of the Australian goals was a mere tap in.

    Bedi bags Tendulkar

http://www-aus.cricket.org/db/ARCHIVE/CRICKET_NEWS/2003/NOV/011811_IND_26NOV2003.html By Zues, with the record he has it is said that he lacks endurance if he doesnt make a 100. Cant the Indians realise the amount of pressure he is under and has preformed for India? (Not meant to sound racist)...
