    Favourite Ashes Memory

Lacks a decimal point between the 1 and 5 TBF. Whole numbers imply he actually finishes a test unscathed.

What should we do with Mitchell Johnson?

I think Jess would be happy if he lands it somewhere near the target instead of spraying it everywhere. Cos otherwise, things would get a little icky....

Allan Donald - 'Legalise ball tampering'

I definitely agree with AA's suggestion but am a little apprehensive about how it could be implemented. I would argue that bowler's should be allowed to modify the condition of the ball using only their nails, dust and saliva (agree with Manee's stance on sugary mints). Any other foreign object...

    *Official Third Test at Edgbaston

My lineup would be Hughes Katmandu Punter Clarke (awta promotion) North Haddin Johnson Lee (replace with Siddle if injured) Hauritz Clark (presumed fit) Hilf Siddle & Huss unlucky but we need to win and as of right now, neither are capable of being genuine matchwinners. 5 man bowling attack may...

How Many Centuries Will Phil Hughes Score?

Hughes and Hussey are fine. Looked convincing in their brief trips to the crease. Johnson however, is a big problem - if he can't get his release angle sorted than we're stuffed.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Don't be so quick to make a snap judgement. Of course, it doesn't look good now but Australia can still hold hope of saving this match provided the big 3 (Ponting, Katman and Clarke) fire in the 2nd dig.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Just watched the highlights.. FFS what's with all this crossbatted nonsense - diabolical batting from everyone bar Ponting & Hussey. If I was Strauss, I'd defo bat again and not enforce the follow-on, besides Ponting and maybe Hussey & Clarke - none of the Australian batsman have the capability...

    Full Ashes coverage on FTA

Worst. host. ever. Tries to act as the one-eyed Aussie supporter but just fumbles his lines and I get the feeling Marto is uncomfortable with his presence and inane comments. I know it won't happen but get Kerry O'Keefe in there

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Gee, we've got ourselves into a spot of bother, haven't we. Credit to both Freddie and Jimmy for being on the spot and consistently bowling in good areas. Just goes to show how pivotal it is to bowl in partnerships, keep the pressure on and hound the batsmen for wickets. Unfortunately only the...

*Official* First Test at Swalec Stadium, Cardiff

Been pleasantly surprised with Hauritz so far. Getting a bit of away-drift and quite a bit of turn back in. That's not to say that the situation and England's general ineptness haven't contributed in making him look like a Test match spinner.
