    Brendon McCullum - over-rated?

Well is he? Especially in Test cricket only where he has only two centuries and both were against non Test standard teams so they don't count ( ;) ) or is he just trying to be a poor man's Adam, Gilchrist? Vote away and no irrelevent option as I want to know what you think.

Hair: "You see? I do have proof that Pakistan tampered with the ball after all."

Glenn McGrath v Imran Khan v Dennis Lillee

Alright it had to be done, so who was the best of the aforementioned trio?

Will ODI's die a slow death?

To see what I am referring to, look at Brumby's sig who has Shane Bond quoted there saying ODI cricket will eventually die. Or will it still have a place in the game for man years to come? I know people like Richard would rather watch paint dry then watch a T20 match, but at least IMO it...

If Bradman played in today's era?

How do you think he would go? Of course there is a lot more cricket being played (more Tests, ODIs T20), a lot of technology involved and a lot more scrutiny with every innings and it would of be awesome to see how he would have gone in India and had he the chance to play Zimbabwe and Bangladesh...

Who is the second great leg spinner ever?

If Shane Warne is the greatest ever so who would go down as the next best?

Have you watched the IPL yet?

I haven't but then the times are not good for me with work the next day and I always have other stuff to do the next day as well.

Which spinner would you rather face?

With respect to Sanz's thread on fast bowling and I will do this one. I went for Warne, at least anything that was even remotely short I would be playing a pull shot or outside off I could try and cut the ball or try and slog Ntini style.

    Mike Brearley v Clive Lloyd

Who was the better captain of the two? Voted for Brearley myself.

Australia to tour Pakistan in 2009 and 2010

Full story here Well at least they are going to honour their commitment in touring Pakistan after they they postponed it and split tours are not a new thing either. I think it is a good thing myself although there will be some on here will disagree (I'm not taking a pot shot either) in that...

    Stephen Fleming v Ricky Ponting

Captaincy only!! So is or was the better captain, and don't just go by their records either because we all know Ponting will win, but then he has a better team. But by you know, watching them play.

    All hail Dale Steyn

As he becomes joint number 1 bowler in the world with Murali Rankings here as we salute Dan Vettori as the no.1 ODI bowler There you go. I'm not sure how much notice you take in them or not, but by just watching cricket alone (forget stats etc.) and in particular the Australian cricket...

    Australian Domestic Off-Season Thread 2008

Rogers walks out on Western Australia ITSTL as I didn't (and I guess nobody did) expect that to happen. Hope he goes to Queensland as we, actually need players and some good ones. Plus playing for Queensland improves your Test chances it seems.

    Gary Kirsten v Michael Atherton

Who was the better opener? I screwed it up last time so I'll do it again.
  15. Craig

    Viv Richards v Greg Chappell

    Who was the better batsman?

Who will be the next big name to join the ICL?

Place your tips here. Reckon it won't be long before Andre Nel signs up. With Nel's days numbered in the SA team and with his T20 record I believe he will put aside playing for South Africa and go after some healthy US$ in the ICL.

    Worst players of spin bowling?

Not just current, but some former players can count as well. I'll put forward Shane Warne's bitch Daryll Cullinan.

Will Matt Hayden go down as an all-time great?

Or even just as a great opener? Thought I would have some fun while Richard is on his enforced holiday, he'll do the rest when he comes back :p (that's for the future). Currently he has 8242 runs at 53 with 30 tons and 27 half centuries, certainly you can't knock his conversion rate. I feel as...

Which country produces more raw talent?

I'm going for India, but if the question was who develops it better then Australia >>>>>>>>>>>> everybody else. I don't know how many countries have a system better then the AIS System, if there is.. Sure the East Germans in the 80's, but a lot of their athletes were doped to the gills, and I...

    The perfect cricket family?

I was thinking the Pollocks for mine. Look at Shaun Pollock, his dad was a top notch fast bowler (and a handy lower order bat), and then his uncle Graeme IMO can go down as an all-time great, or if not one or two rungs below. You have Shaun who has been a great fast bowler and the best number 8...
