*Official* Bangladesh Tour of New Zealand 2019

That effort with the bat vs. Nuttall/Sears the other day makes me think Bangladesh could surprise with the bat a bit here. They are missing Shakib and Mushfiqur, though.

NZ rise to 2nd in Test rankings for first time

I think we'd still lose but South Africa are definitely vulnerable at the moment. Amla's past it, Bavuma hasn't really developed as well as they'd like. Elgar is out of form. Morkel, Abbott, de Villiers are gone. Bowling is still top tier but Philander and Steyn are injury-prone.

Is Milne injured again. He only got through 4 overs.

It was a pretty average bowling attack but it's good to see Chapman actually do something in first-class cricket.

Fernando's set up to get Elgar was jizz-worthy.

When's the last time he did any keeping and is he any good? He'll probably earn a spot on batting alone at some point if he continues like this.

Ravindra looks like he has so much time, even against someone fairly quick like Kuggs.

Averaging 31 with the bat with a SR of 110 + having an ER with the ball of 4.8 in the last 2 years is fine, tbh. He's not world class but he provides the best balance in that role at the moment.

Doull's hate boner for CdG is so weird.

How does Styris watch Nicholls playing like this and still advocate for Munro in the opener's role?

Sounds like Seifert is in the plans for the World Cup.

Mortaza went to the same captaincy school as Sarfraz

You'd think Munro would fluke some runs occasionally.

They've got a fairly strong first XI settled and that's fine. I've given up trying to figure out the logic behind the rest of the squad, though.

Corey Graves sounds like a real piece of work.

There's quite a few promising South African born players looking to qualify, so that influence will ramp up in a couple of years. Conway, Nofal, Foxcroft, Ludick, etc.

I want to see Boult, Ferguson, Milne. But this attack is the next best thing.

Fringe and underperforming players are under a microscope at the moment and that's somewhat interesting to watch. I agree that it hasn't been the most exciting cricket we've seen, though.
