*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

Great match! At what point does bazzball become more about the results than entertainment? I get Stokes and England are happy to be part of a great game as they were in NZ, but if they lose 3 of these great games on the bounce will they still go on about the entertainment factor? I have said...

*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

There is boldness then there is plain stupid! On a deck this flat England are below par.. it’s Day 1 and Root is still in going great guns, to then declare is basically handing the intiative on a plate to the opposition.

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Here is my take. Bazball is entertaining and fun but surely the goal is to win Test matches. I understand the logic of risking losing in order to win, but even that theory still doesn’t mean you don’t minimise the chance of the opposition winning. You just dangle a carrot and give them a dilema...

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

Unless Pakistan do something stupid this will be a high scoring draw

England test tour of Pakistan December 2022

To think people complained about the pitch at Ahmedabad last year! This pitch is dreadful for Test Cricket.
