    Cricket Coach Thread

We've managed to clear the now infamous keyboard bug. It was simply a line of code that didn't need to be there, and yes I'll hold my hands up to that one, a genuine mistake. As for the match engine scores being unrealistic, we fiddled around with the match engine a lot during the last week, in...

Did the downloadable version of Cricket Coach come out today?

Just to update those of you who are waiting to download the game, we're currently looking into one issue that's related to a small part of the game. (an oddity when coaching Pakistan). As soon as we're confident this is sorted we will upload the game. Oli Norwell

The downloadable release will cost more money, but will include free updates and add-on features in the future that the retail version will not. It might be possible (not certain yet), to upgrade your retail cd copy to the downloadable version, and thus get access to the extra features. The...

Why is it like a graveyard in here? Less than a week until Cricket Coach is released!

The plan is to release a version on March 31st, obviously nothing is certain in life, but I'd say this is pretty much certain. Oli Norwell

Are we going a Cricket Coach Forum?

As for a forum, yes we're going to be launching one once the game is released. Until then 100% of our time is being spent working on the title.

Are we going a Cricket Coach Forum?

The game will be out before the end of the month, that's about 95% certain. Unless something out of the ordinary was to happen, which is unlikely. Oli Norwell

    Cricket Coach !!!

It's actually impossible to say whether the game will be out before xmas, if everything between now and then went perfectly then the chances are it would be ready. However creating computers games can be extremely unpredictable at times, especially when it comes to getting them ready for...

    *Cricket Master 2005 Development Thread*

The project sounds interesting, I look forward to playing it when it's out. I think some of you should give the developers a break, sure they missed some promised release dates but that happens all the time in the games industry. Just give them time and be a little patient, I mean you're getting...

Will Geriant Jones become the new Gilchrist?

Gilchrist made his test debut aged 27yrs 356days [according to CI.com] Jones made his test debut aged 27yrs 271days [according to CI again] Both are aggressive wicket keeper batsmen. So that's similar.... First 3 matches... Gilchrist 81, 6 vs Pakistan 1999/2000 Jones 38, 10*...

Will Geriant Jones become the new Gilchrist?

Well have to say on this performance he's looking extremely good, it took Gilchrist a few years to develop into the player he is. Plus he's scoring at well over 4 and over. So who knows, I'm sure he'll get a good run in the side. What with Strauss England really have uncovered 2 gems.

    Gotta love the Internet!...

Hehe bet you loved it when Jones smashed Vettori for 6 to bring up his 50!. Hate to say it but I think your heading to an innings defeat.

Will Geriant Jones become the new Gilchrist?

He's made a good start to his test career, seems to be able to score at a good rate, plus his keeping isn't that bad. Would be nice for England fans if in five years he'd played 50 tests, and had an average of 60. Can't quite see it happening though?.

    Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard

I'd much rather Lampard played than Butt, and I'd like to see Vassell on from the start in a few games. I'd also replace in the squad Heskey with Defoe. Nice to see Lampard score today, he's really come on a lot during the last 12 months.

Cricket Coach 2004 is on da way :D

Please don't call it Cricket Coach, as I've been using that a lot to describe my game and I don't want any confusion. For a great list of possible names for cricket games see the Cricket Manager news page on CricketGames.com Cheers
