Don't think much of his technique on leaving the ball. But he's got a solid enough defence.

    Cricket -- Hall Of Fame

Thats one dodgy list. How does Ken Barrington and Herbert Sutcliffe miss out when players like Graveny, May and Gower get in? Joel Garner should also be somewhere in there as well.

    Jayasuriya?

TBF Samaraweera is a pretty decent middle order player in tests. And while Dilshan is rather inconsistant he is capable of putting in a good performance every now and then. Certainly wouldn't say it was no where near as good as the middle order of 10 years ago.

When You Changed Your Mind About a Player

Can't see how Law helped to keep Hussey out of the team considering he only played one test.

Insane and mockery of Test cricket

You don't want to overwork him though. He bowled close to 70 overs in the match, which was easily the most overs bowled by any of the Bangladeshi bowlers. He shouldn't bat anywhere higher than 6. Maybe in ODI's but not in tests, the workload of being expected to bowl that many overs as well as...

    Hauritz vs Krejza

Should go with Bracken IMO. However out of Hauritz and Krezja, Krezja is definitely the potentially better bowler and should be playing ahead of Hauritz IMO. He gets way more flight and spin and can actually get the batsman out with good deliveries (Amla in Perth) rather than Hauritz who waits...

Cant say its surprising really, with Hayden and McKenzie both being out of form. Whats funny is that the highest partnership has come at the 9th wicket. Don't think anyone before the series would've expected that to happen.

    Neil McKenzie's/Duminy's fate

I think you'll find the main reason for this is because he had absolutely no clue on how to play Warne. He's got out like 10 times against him. With Warne out of the team he should be fine IMO.

    Neil McKenzie's/Duminy's fate

Would drop Mckenzie for Prince. Harsh to kick Mckenzie out after only a few failures, but it would be even worse to leave Duminy out after that innings and Mckenzie doesn't look likely to score a whole lot of runs against the Aussies. New order would be: 1) Smith 2) De Villiers 3) Amla 4)...

How has CW changed your cricket experience?

yeah agree with this. I wouldn't have any idea about most of the domestic kiwi players such as Broom, Hay and McIntosh if it weren't for CW. Have to say some of my opinions on certain players have also been influenced by CW. For example I never thought of Hayden or Sehwag as a flat track bully...

Where did you learn about cricket?

My dad put me in the: have a go milo cricket clinic when I was around 6. That was where it all started. I then developed most of my cricket knowledge from cricinfo just from browsing old scorecards and looking at players stats and whatnot. Also gained a lot of early knowledge from my dad, uncle...

Who's backing the referral system now?

There's nothing wrong with the referral system, its just that some umpires are absolutely hopeless at using it and reaching the right conclusion even with replays.

    Jayasuriya?

    no

    ***Official*** South Africa In Australia

Yeah AWTA. Admittedly he was pretty poor in the second innings, but in the first innings he was getting the ball to spin and drop and was troubling the batsman at times. He's a potentially much better bowler than Hauritz, who has absolutely no hope of getting a wicket unless the batsman are...
