    I think England probably are the second best team in the world and they must not start too panic after this defeat there are clearly areas of the team that need improvment but just because they have lost one match too one of the best sides in history containing 2 of the best bowlers in history...

    Today again proved that Thorpe should have been in the side and i fully agree with Micheal Atherton that Pieterson should have been in the side against Bangladesh at the start of the summer and we could have had Thorpe at 4 and Pieterson at 5 which would have been so much better

    Yes Jones very worrying today both drops were very poor just lazy the first one and the second one was really poor. Warne simply amazing today and Pieterson the only England batsman that is playing well although Tresctohick looked much better today i just dont see why Thorpe has retired England...

    I dont know how anyone could try and argue that the England bowlers didnt bowl very well on thursday even if they were eclpised by mcgrath the poorest bowler that day was Gillespie. Today Hoggard and Jones did not bowl very well but Flintoff and Harmisons last spells were excellent

    He has always bowled pretty well when ive seen him and he is one of those bowlers that gets wickets with not always the best deliveries probably because of the awkard bounce. That doesnt make him any less good as a bowler

    The way poor old Trescothick looked i think his place would have been under threat if not after the first test maybe after the 2nd or 3rd. Now with the possible replacements his place is probalby safe

    Yes it would be Key wouldnt it which is not a good prospect, cant see him making any runs against Australia. Thorpes retriement is very bad news as we really needed him on thursday and i would hopw he would have been back for the 2nd test.
